Haruki Mizuno is one of the most popular Japanese AV stars. She was born on July 21 1979. She performed in many Japan AV uncensored movies. Her carrer started after she dropped out of school. Initially she wanted to work at spapland. However, it turned out that she become an AV star insted. For ten years of her carrer and eight years after her retirement she was still very popular. In Feb 07, over 50 of her videos were still listed on Amazon.com.
Haruki took her screen name from the popular actress Maki Mizuno. This was because she considered Maki as her role model. Hariki made her AV debut in December 1997 when she featured in the movie called Barefoot Fairy. With her outstanding performance, she has quickly a sensation in the AV field as well as a popular gravure idol. For a year, she did about one video a month for Sexia. Leverage from her "Lolita" look, her third video was Sweet Baby where Mizuno portraying the viewer's younger sister. In May 98 she released her movie named Pretty Wife 4 as she played in the role of a young newly wed who must endure training and discipline from her husband and his creditors.
After just a year in the AV, Mizuno felt exhausted and decided to stay away from the AV industry. During her break she turned to work in the Japanese mainstream media. She was a regular on the late night TV show. However, she had made a return to the AV where this time she was more comfortable with the AV field. She began to experimenting with genres in which she had previously refused to perform such as bondage and rape scenes.
